How to Configure row limit for in-database data from relational data sources

This article talks about how to configure row limit for in-database data from relational data sources. A Spotfire Administrator can configure a row limit for visualizing in-database data from relational data sources from Spotfire version 7.9 onwards. This prevents users from accidentally loading massive amounts of data which could strain the network, the data source and system memory.

Under Tools >> Administrator Manager >> Preferences >> Select the Appropriate group as per your requirement or Select Everyone group to apply the limitation
Now select Application >> DataImportPreferences >> ConnectorImportRowLimit

This lets you specify a maximum limit for the number of rows that can be imported by connectors. A value of 0 indicates no limitations.
