Problem:

Changing Tool-tip background color on markers only for the current analysis file.


Solution:

The default background color of the tooltip is black in color and the font color is white if no explicit setting has been done at the Spotfire Analyst/Client end as per the attached image. (Filename:Image1).

 

 
Below are the steps to follow if you want to update the tooltip background to white and font color to black for the existing analysis file.
  1. Open Spotfire Analyst and load any dummy data.Then go to Edit Menu >> Document Properties.
  2. Check the option - Show tooltips as black text on light background as per the attached image (Filename:Image2.png).
  3. Hover over on any marker and you will see that black text is visible over a light background as per the attached image (Filename:Image3).
