Problem:
How to edit any transformation in a Data Table if there are more than one transformations.
Solution:
If there are more than one transformations on a data table, "Edit" button gets grayed out for all transformation except for the last one. Reference image (attached file) "Edit_Transformation.png". For Spotfire 7.8 and below: If there are more then one transformations on a data table and you need to edit any of those transformation, follow the steps below:
- Go To Edit Menu >> Data Table Properties.
- Select the desired data table inside which the transformation has been added and click on Refresh Data >> With Prompt.
- A new window will pop up which will allow you to make the desired changes in each of the transformations.
- Click on 'View' Menu >> Data option and then select the desired data table from the drop down menu in which you want to edit the data transformation.
- Click on the wheel icon and then select the 'Source view' option.
- Select the information link and then click on the wheel icon to open the 'Edit Transformation' window.
- Now select the desired option as per your requirement like 'Edit' button to edit the data transformation. I have attached an image for the reference-'Edit_Transformations.png'
