Problem:

Error when installing DecisionSite on Windows 7 with IE9 or higher installed.


Solution:

Customer gets an error when attempting to install DecisionSite on a computer that is running Internet Explorer 9 or higher. TIBCO Spotfire DecisionSite relies on Internet Explorer for some code in order to run and is incompatible with IE9. DecisionSite cannot be installed on a machine that has Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) or higher installed on it.  User must downgrade their version of Internet Explorer to version 8, or install DecisionSite on a different computer that meets the system requirements.
