Can Spotfire pass credentials along to TSSS installation when running a Data Function? Pass-through authentication between Spotfire and Statistics Services is currently not supported. Even if both are using the same authentication method, when running a Data Function for the first time in an analysis session, the credentials will need to be re-entered. The credentials will then be cached locally and reused for the duration of the session. Integrated authentication may be supported in a future release.

Pass-through authentication does work between Spotfire and Statistics Services if TSSS is installed on the same machine as the Spotfire Server and both servers are reading from the same authentication directory. This is not a tested configuration and is not a supported configuration.
