How do you save an analysis with linked data (file) in the Spotfire Library (Spotfire version 5.5.0) and access them through Web Player

1 Open file with data 2 Create an analysis file (dxp file) 3 Save your analysis (with linked data) in the Spotfire Library (File > Save as > Library Item > Finish) 4 Before making any changes, please take a backup of the web. config file. All files are relative to the webroot folder - If you want to allow all file paths and don’t want to specify every path separately, add the following parameter in the web. config file: ... True Note: Use only one of these options 5 Restart Web Player 6 For any of these options to work, make sure that the user running Web Player Application Pool has required access to the data location (folder, shared drive) By default Spotfire Web Player Application Pool runs as “NETWORK SERVICES” and this user doesn’t have access beyond the Web Player server machine. You may need to run the Application Pool as a custom user account and then provide the required access to the data location for this user.
