ChemDraw web clipboard exe file throws error 1260 in Signals Notebook

Details:

In order to copy chemical structures from e.g. BioVia / Chemdraw via drag & drop into Signals Notebook as chemical drawing content, the extended clipboard must be activated:

1. ChemDraw web clipboard exe-file must be downloaded and executed.
2. ChemDraw web clipboard chrome extension must be installed.
3. Refresh of the Signals web-page.

But exe-file installation throws the following error message: "Error 1260: This program is blocked by group policy. For more information, please contact your system administrator".

Reason:

Your company may have a policy to prevent (or limit) users from installing applications themselves.

Solution:

Please contact your IT. Your administrator can either install the application for you, or provide permissions to do that.
