Keywords: ChemDraw, Unable to use, Distribute Horizontally, shortcut, Ctrl+Alt+Shift+H, Zoom, controls, conflict
Details:
You may note conflicts with similar shortcut keys when using ChemDraw while in Zoom meetings. An example of such conflict is the Ctrl+Alt+Shift+H shortcut key combination.
In Zoom (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+H) is used for "Show/Hide floating meeting controls". While in Chemdraw (Alt+Shift+Ctrl+H) is used for the "Distribute Horizontally" function.
You will find the list of Zoom Keyboard Commands at https://www.csb-cde.ca.gov/resources/covid-19/windowszoom.aspx
Since Zoom Keyboard Commands override the ChemDraw Shortcuts, you are not able to use the Horizontal distribute shortcut (Alt+Shift+Ctrl+H).
As a workaround, we recommend using the ChemDraw function (from the context menu or from the Object menu) instead of using the shortcut keys while in a Zoom meeting.
