Unable to update/edit container information

Issue: When user updates the expiration date of the containers gets the error “The containers was unable to be updated due to an access error. Please confirm that you have access to the attributes selected”

Solution:

As of 22.5 and beyond releases, editing containers now require entity.full_control in inventory security option. In order to edit the already exiting container information.

Please perform the below steps in order to resolve the issue.

Step 1: Login to System Configuration and go to security policy.
Step 2:  Click on the Edit option highlighted in blue (refer screenshot)

Step 3: Go to the query for inventory security and in grant instead to entity .write give entity.full_control (refer screenshot below)

Step 4: After editing click on Save changes and the select Save and Apply changes. Close the browser, open again and then check if you are now able to edit the container.
