how to tear off tool palette w/ Mac track pad

Directions say to use left click. I did a search to find Mac trackpad leftclick equivalent, but it says to just click on trackpad...doesn't work

  Hi,

  You probably need to go to System Preferences > Trackpad and uncheck the tap to click option.

  This is general Mac OS behavior and not specific to ChemDraw.
