Structures are not rendered in Biomolecular viewer

Problem:

Structures in some SD files are not rendered at all using Biomolecular viewer in LDP. They are rendered without issues in other ChemCharts.

Resolution:

If the issue occurs only for Biomolecular viewer, then check the Dimension property of the structure column. Check that value of Dimension is set to "3", if not change it manually.

1. From the menu bar of Spotfire Analyst, go to Data > Column Properties.

2. From the list of columns, select the structure column that is to be rendered in 3D.

3. Move to the Properties tab.

4. Check the value of Dimension property.

5.  If the value is other than "3", then highlight the Dimension property and click [Edit].

6. Change the value to "3".

7. Exit Column Properties.

8. Mark one or more rows in the structure data to view the structures in Biomolecular viewer.
