Problem:
Sometimes a Spotfire troubleshooting Bundle is missing important logs. This is often a node, but can also be an application server. This can be caused by the Windows OS generating and keeping excessive httperr files.
These files are not created by the Spotfire software, but by a Windows process. You can find details here:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/developer/webapps/aspnet/site-behavior-performance/error-logging-http-apis
When Spotfire generates a log bundle, it starts with these files, and can timeout before getting to its own files. Or sometimes part way through bundling Spotfire log files. This can then give a false impression of the server's history.
Resolution:
Delete these from your C:\Windows\System32\LogFiles\HTTPERR folder.
