Add a linked copy of a data table in an analysis as a new data table

Prior to this task:

✔ Spotfire for Signals (item) must be opened.

✔ Data must be loaded.

1️⃣ Active page ➡ select [Files and data]
2️⃣ Files and data flyout ➡ select [Other]
3️⃣ Other options ➡ Linked copy to data table in analysis ➡ select data
4️⃣ Add data to analysis pane ➡ select [Rename data table] ➡ type new name ➡ select Add as new data table
5️⃣ Add data to analysis pane ➡ select [OK]

The option to add a linked copy to a data table in an analysis can be used when the user wants to add data from a data table that is already included in the analysis to a new data table, or as rows or columns in another data table. For example, the user may want to use both the original and a pivoted version of the data in the same analysis. This way, the user can reduce the load on an external source because the original data is imported only once.
