Spotfire: Rename a column from the Details on selected column panel

Prior to this task:

✔ Data must be loaded. 

1️⃣ Active page ➡ select  [Data in analysis]
2️⃣ Data in analysis flyout ➡ select column to rename
3️⃣ Expanded data in analysis flyout ➡ select [Details on selected column]
4️⃣ Details on selected column panel ➡ select  [Rename column] ➡ type new name

Supporting Knowledge

The Data in analysis panel presents a structured list of all data columns loaded into Spotfire as a data table. Columns are grouped into different categories according to their data types.

The Details on selected column feature provides an overview of the values in a specific column. When in the details view (the column view), the user can perform some data preparation and cleansing operations, which can help the user ensure that, for example, there are no mismatches between category and data. Also, the user can better format and manage the display of the loaded data.

Optionally, the user can add a description to the selected column. From the Details on selected column panel, select the [Update column description] icon, then type a description of interest.
