Spotfire: Define and apply a new filtering scheme from the Filters panel

Prior to this task:

✔ Data must be loaded.

✔ Filters panel must be opened.

1️⃣ ️Filters panel ➡ right-click and select Show Filtering Scheme Menu
2️⃣ Filters panel ➡ select [Filtering scheme] ➡ select New Filtering Scheme…
3️⃣ New Filtering Scheme window ➡ type new name ➡ select [OK]
4️⃣ Filters panel ➡ select [Filtering scheme] ➡ select filtering scheme

Alternatively, the user can create a new marking from Document Properties. From the Document Properties window, select Filtering Schemes. From the Filtering Schemes tab, select Show filtering scheme menu in Filters panel., then select [New...]. From the New Filtering Scheme window, type filtering scheme name, then select [OK]. From the Document Properties window ➡ select [OK].

Alternatively, the user can create a new filtering scheme from the Properties window of a visualization. From the Data options of the properties, select [New...]. From the New Filtering Scheme window, enter a name for the new filtering scheme.
