Change the shape of the data points in a Scatter plot within an analysis from the Properties window

Prior to this task:

✔ Spotfire for Signals (item) must be opened.

✔ Scatter plot visualization must be added.

1️⃣ Active visualization ➡ hover over and select  [Properties]
2️⃣ Properties window ➡ select Shape
3️⃣ Shape options ➡ select shape type ➡ Shape definition ➡ select options accordingly
4️⃣ Properties window ➡ select [Close]

Supporting Knowledge

Notes:

• There is a default list of shapes available, which are automatically assigned to categories (the user can change them manually if desired). When there are more categories than available shapes in the default list, shapes will be reused.
• The Size settings are not available when the Scatter plot is configured with tiled markers.
