Prior to this task:
✓ Data must have at least one structure/image column.
✓ Visualization must be added.
1️⃣ Active visualization ➡ hover over and select [Properties]
2️⃣ Properties window ➡ select Tooltip
3️⃣ Tooltip options ➡ select [Add...]
4️⃣ Add Tooltip Value window ➡ Column ➡ select
- structure/image column of interest
- Display name
- Edit expression
5️⃣ Add Tooltip Value window➡ Name ➡ type new name
6️⃣ Add Tooltip Value window➡ select
- Get content from ➡ (Selected column)
- Show as* ➡ modify settings accordingly
- Size
- Include value name in tooltip
7️⃣ Add Tooltip Value window➡ select [OK]
8️⃣ Tooltip options ➡ select Tooltip format
9️⃣ Properties window ➡ select [Close]
Supporting Knowledge
Show as*: Select ChemDraw or RDKit options for displaying structures and select the Images Renderer available for displaying images.
Note: Your company may have set up a type of virtual column producer that can take the values from the selected column and transform them into a desired output. For example, the Structure Column could be used to show molecular structures from an information link in the labels.
Note: This type of tooltip only works with scatter plots and outliers of box plots.
