When attempting to connect to Global Search frm the TIBCO Spotfire Analyst client. , the following error may be seen.
This occurs when selecting Tools -> Signals Inventa -> Global Search
One possible cause for this, is that the API key used to connect to Signals Data Factory is incorrect.
To resolve this error:
1) Start the Analyst client using an Administrator account.
2) Select Tools -> Administration Manager -> Preferences
3) Select the Everyone group. The exact group to look at will depend on how preferences have been setup.
Check with your system administrator for more information.
4) Look at the section called Signals Lead Discovery -> General
5) Check what value is present for SDF ApiKey. Also make sure that the SDF Base URL is correct.
Next, log in to the Inventa URL using the super account.
1) Navigate to Administration -> User Manager
2) Select the user that should be used with the Analyst client
3) Look on the bottom right side for Api Keys
4) This should match the key that was found in the Preferences section of the Analyst client. If not then you will need to update the analyst client to match this value.
The analyst client should be restarted after making this change.
