Details:
When attempting to connect to a Spotfire Library with the TIBCO Spotfire Analytics Android app, the connection fails with the error "Unable to open web browser for authentication" and you are unable to view folders or open files.
Resolution:
A Work Profile may be set up on the Android device. The Work Profiles are meant to separate work apps and data from personal apps and data, and may not include a browser for security purposes. A web browser is required for Spotfire mobile apps if the TIBCO Spotfire Server is configured with a web-based authentication (like OpenId Connect for example).
