This article describes how to export only filtered data while using "Export Data to File" in TIBCO Spotfire Automation services.
Details:
When using 'Export Data to File' in Automation Services, you do not get the filtered data (but all the data) as an output on selecting the 'Data table' option under 'Export data from' > 'Data table'.
Resolution:
To export the filtered data only, create a Table visualization in the analysis file containing the filtered data. Now select 'Export data from" > 'Visualization'. Under the Visualization option, select the one containing the filtered data table. This would export the filtered data table.
