Revvity Signals is delighted to announce the newest release of ChemDraw v23.1, with updates included in ChemDraw Prime, Professional and Signals ChemDraw. The latest minor release of ChemDraw Desktop introduces improvements in the areas of HELM and document level annotations.
Key highlights for ChemDraw v23.1:
- HELM Improvements:
- A refined cursor display now offers a clearer view of monomer insertion points, facilitating easier drawing and editing of biopolymers.
- The visualization of expanded monomers has been optimized by concealing their labels, decluttering the canvas.
- The selection behavior of a monomer has been refined; a double-click on an atom or bond now selects the entire monomer, while a subsequent double-click selects the entire sequence.
- Added support for pasting GenBank FASTA DNA/RNA sequences.
- Annotation Handling:
- Improved document annotations with a new 'Delete All' option and smarter paste operations that respect existing annotations.
- Various bugs addressed.
