Spotfire: Unable to delete library items after upgrading to Spotfire 14.0

Problem:

Your users are getting errors when trying to delete library items, like Reports or Information Links, etc.

You are seeing: Internal Server Error has occurred.  LibraryException

You find the following in your server.log:-

ws.library.LibraryService: An exception occurred in method 'TryDelete'.
com.spotfire.ws.library.StorageException: ORA-04098: trigger 'MZBPJ.FAV_TRIG' is invalid and failed re-validation
ORA-06512: at "MZBPJ.USP_DELETEITEM", line 82

Your are using Oracle as your Database server for Spotfire metadata.

Your Oracle version is less than 19c

Solution:

Check the system requirements and make sure your database is at the correct level before starting the server upgrade.

Spotfire 14.0.x LTS requires Oracle 19c, otherwise it is unable to compile the new trigger that gets added.
