Signals Inventa: Search for compounds/batches/measurements by related entities from the Global Search app

Prior to this task:

✔ Global Search app must be opened.

✔ Related entities must be configured for the selected Inventa project.

1️⃣ Global Search page ➡ Project ➡ select  [“project name”]
2️⃣ Global Search page ➡ Find one or more ➡ select [Compounds/Batches/Measurements] ➡ whose Compound or Batch attributes are... ➡ select entity (e.g., Batches) 3️⃣ Global Search page ➡ Filter builder widget ➡ select  [And] ➡ select Entity Condition ➡ select  [add icon] ➡ select Add Condition ➡ select/enter  [“data field name”]  [“operation name”]  [“value”] (Related entity attributes will appear in square brackets [ ])
4️⃣ Global Search page ➡ Filter builder widget ➡ select  [add icon] ➡ select Add Condition ➡ select/enter  [“data field name”]  [“operation name”]  [“value”] 5️⃣ Global Search page ➡ Search summary ➡ select  [Show me the summary]
6️⃣ Global Search page ➡ select  [Download these results]

Supporting Knowledge

Notes:

• Related entities refer to additional/custom entities that can be added to the Signals Data Factory configuration. These entities are associated with the core entities Batches and Compounds, which provide additional data. The attribute filters will thus appear as entity conditions.
• Find one or more… whose Compound or Batch attributes are... sets the scope of the search query. If Compounds or Batches is selected, only data that is associated with Compounds or Batches in scope will be downloaded.
• Steps 3️⃣ and 4️⃣ can be repeated to combine multiple filter conditions. Note that the operators combining those filters (And, Or, Not And, Not Or) can be changed in the red dropdown field.

Optionally, under ...and whose Measurements are..., select Measurement data sets (e.g., All).

Optionally, under ...and achieved a result of:, the user can apply additional filters on measurement attributes.

Optionally, beneath the summary, under Search options, select empty result exclusion and replicate options.
