Summary:
This articles provides instructions on how to update expired TLS certificate in Spotfire Server that is running on port 80 in Azure, behind Azure web gateway/load balancer that uses port 443.
Resolution:
- Obtain a new certificate PFX file with its private key. If PFX file is not available, obtain a certificate file and its private key separately and, next, in Windows Server's IIS certificate admin panel (on Spotfire Server machine), add both cert files and export the certificate as PFX file with its private key in it.
- Login to Azure admin console for the web gateway and updated certificate file with new PFX file. After changes are saved, Spotfire Server URL should be working with the new certificate and without any errors.
