ChemDraw 20 crashing, I am unable to add letters to ChemDraw structures.
Solution:
If you are unable to enter any letter in your structures and ChemDraw crashes immediately please try the following:
Launch the Event Viewer by right-clicking on "This PC" Manage.
Expand the Errors and check for the Apps events containing ChemDraw, if the Event ID is 1000 launch the Windows Command Prompt as Administrator and run the following scripts:
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
then
sfc /scannow
If the scan found corrupted system files and repaired them please restart your PC and retest ChemDraw.
