How to enable/disable option Export to PDF which is deprecated in Spotfre Web Player 7.11 and higher

From Spotfire 7.10, the export to PDF function was renewed. In the new export, you get a preview of what you select to export and how different settings affect the output. You can still access the 7.9 version of the export function though. This article describes how one can enable/disable it in Web Player.

How it looks in 10.0 and above:

To enable for Administrator Group: Open Spotfire Analyst >> Tools >> Options >> Compatibility >> check the box 'Enable 7.9 PDF export (requires restart)'. Restart the Spotfire Analyst to reflect the changes.

To enable it for other group(s): Go to Tools >> Administration Manager >> Preferences tab >> Select the group >> Pdf >> PdfPreferences >> Edit >> EnableSyncfusionPdf and set it to True. Log out from the user session and log in again to reflect the changes made.
