How to get a table visualization to automatically show first/top rows based on a specific column when opened in TIBCO Spotfire

When an analysis file containing a table visualization is opened in a TIBCO Spotfire client (both installed clients, such as Analyst, or web clients), the first/top rows might not necessarily be shown.
In order to make sure the first/top rows, based on a specific column, are shown the file needs to be saved with sorting set on the column in question. To sort based on a specific column:

1. Left-click on the column you wish to sort by, in this example "Total amount of Purchases". A small window is automatically shown:

3. Save the file locally and/or to the library.
