Fail to create a new TIBCO Data Virtualization connector connection with error "Connection Failed"
When trying to create a new TIBCO Data Virtualization Connector connection receive the below error:
Below error returned in the Analyst/client "Spotfire.Dxp.SupportDiagnostics.log" file:

Composite.Data.Common.SQLException: Connection failed ---> System.IO.IOException: Exception occurred while executing request 'handshake 3 3': Socket closed on server[ADO.NET-1906507] ---> System.IO.IOException: Socket closed on server
at Composite.Data.CompositeClient.ReplySelectThread.Run()
=================================== The above error is generally returned when the port number used is incorrect.
To verify the port number>Logon to TDV studio and navigate to Administration>Configuration>Server> Web Services Interface>Communications>HTTP> Port (on Server Restart) or Port (Current)
For e.g in the below example for the ADO.NET it will be 9400+1 i.e 9401
You may also receive this error if the TDV ADO.NET connector used is of older version.
You can get the appropriate version of the drivers from https://perkinelmerinformatics.flexnetoperations.com/
The file is located under the TIBCO Spotfire Advanced Data Services section and the name is TIB_tdv_drivers_8.X.X_all.zip for the TDV 8.2.0 ADO.NET driver, where X.X is the version you are using.
