For some of the TIBCO Spotfire Server version(s), the client deployment package is not matching with the Spotfire Server version

Problem:

For some of the TIBCO Spotfire Server version(s), the client deployment package is not matching with the Spotfire Server version.

Solution:

On the download site (https://revvitysignals.flexnetoperations.com/) the client deployment packages which are currently available in the setup bundle of Spotfire Server, may not be the same version as of Spotfire Server. We may come across this issue for some of the Spotfire version(s), not all. The client deployment packages which are currently available in the setup bundle of Spotfire Servers, some of them may not be the same version as Spotfire Server.

Some of the examples are listed below:

For Spotfire Server 7.11.10 the available client deployment package is 7.11.2
For Spotfire Server 10.3.4 the available sdn file is 10.3.2
For Spotfire Server 10.3.5 / 10.3.6 / 10.3.7 / 10.3.8 the available sdn file in 10.3.3
For Spotfire Server 10.8.1 the available sdn file is 10.8.0
