Problem:

How to check the exact version of JDK shipped with TIBCO Spotfire server?


Solution:

TIBCO Spotfire Server version 7.5 and higher are shipped with JDK version 1.8. The exact version of JDK can be checked by running the command mentioned in the resolution section. To check the exact JDK version, the following command should be run. 

<Spotfire Server installation directory>\tibco\tss\<version>\jdk\bin\java -version
