TIBCO Spotfire Automation Services job fails to execute on server with error "FAILED: No services deployed"

When you try to execute a TIBCO Spotfire Automation Services job on the server (see Testing a job file on Spotfire Server for more details), it may fail with the following error message:

Starting job automation.xml on server http://xxxx:xxx/
FAILED: No services deployed.
Done

This error is seen because there are no Automation Services instances available in your system. Make sure you have installed at least one Automation Services service and instance on a Node Manager in your environment. See Installing Spotfire Automation Services instances for more details.
