Problem:
TIBCO Spotfire Analyst Client crashes randomly on Windows 10.
Solution:
Because of issues with a Windows "ucrtbase.dll" file, the TIBCO Spotfire installed client application might crash randomly. This issue has been seen with other .NET based applications as well. This has been seen on Windows 10 operating system, especially when the OS is upgraded from an earlier version. The following error will be seen in the event viewer logs:

Below are some of the steps that might resolve the issue although this may vary from environment to environment:
- Reinstalling the Visual C++ redistribution.
- Running Spotfire.dxp.exe as an Administrator user.
- Replacing the "ucrtbase.dll" with the same file from a working environment, where this issue is not seen. The location of this ".dll" file is "C:\WINDOWS\System32\ucrtbase.dll".
