Problem:
How to set the maximum number of rows in table visualizations based on external in-database data tables
Solution:
Prior to Spotfire 7.8, the maximum number of in-database rows that can be viewed in a Table Visualization is limited to 10,000 rows. From Spotfire 7.8 forward, this can be configured by setting the preference value of TableVisualizationExternalRowLimit .
Steps to configure:
- Login to TIBCO Spotfire Analyst as an Administrator.
- Go to Tools > Administration Manager.
- Select Preferences tab.
- Select group to which this setting should be applied. You can Select "Everyone" group so that the setting is configured to all the users.
- Edit the Preferences.
- Select Application > Data Import Preferences > TableVisualizationExternalRowLimit
