Revvity Signals Lead Discovery Premium: 1.2.x
Details
This problem is usually caused by endpoint protection or anti-virus software running on the system (TrendMicro, Cylance, Avecto, BeyondTrust, etc.). Revvity Signals Lead Discovery Premium uses a 3rd party component, EO Browser (eowp.exe), from Essential Objects, Inc. This component is dynamically created and loaded as a child processes within Analyst client. It is used to run a browser engine for multiple features within Lead Discovery Premium. Third party anti-virus / security software can often raise false alarm and cause eowp.exe to fail.
The eowp.exe is installed in Analyst client installation directory, for example:
C:\Program Files (x86)\TIBCO\Spotfire\10.x\Modules\Lead Discovery Chemcharts Forms_1.4.4.9\eowp.exe
or
D:\Users\[user-name]\AppData\Local\TIBCO\Spotfire\10.x\Modules\Lead Discovery Chemcharts Forms_1.4.4.9\eowp.exe
Resolution:
This problem is usually resolved by making sure that eowp.exe and DLL files in its directory are whitelisted by all endpoint protection and anti-virus software that is running on the machine.
