Problem:

TIBCO Spotfire Server URLs stored on Client machines.


Solution:

The TIBCO Spotfire Server URLs that the TIBCO Spotfire Analyst client uses are stored in two locations on a client's machine
  User's AppData Folder
Any time a user clicks the 'Manage Servers' link on the TIBCO Analyst desktop client's logon screen, the server URLs and credentials (if 'Save my login information' is enabled) are stored in the user's AppData folder in the LoginInformation.xml file:

  • Example location: C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\TIBCO\Spotfire\X.X\Settings\LoginInformation.xml
  • Example excerpt: <Fields><Field Name="AbsoluteUri"><String Id="13" Value="http://myTIBCOSpotfireServer/" />

Registry
There is also a registry key where a default TIBCO Spotfire Server URL can be stored. This is not used by default.
  • HKCU\Software\TIBCO\StandaloneDXP\X.X.X:SERVERURL

Those are the only two places where TIBCO Spotfire Server information is stored on a desktop client's machine.
