Problem:

Can script code be written in a different IDE than IronPython?


Solution:

Is IronPython required for writing scripts in Spotfire? Can a different integrated development environment (IDE) such as PythonWin or Wing be used?
  Only IronPython is supported in Spotfire.  Also, no separate IDE is used, as it is built into the program.
