Error message "The query processor could not obtain access to a required interface" is displayed when running Information Links that connect to Microsoft SQL Server.

Problem:

Error message "The query processor could not obtain access to a required interface" is displayed when running Information Links that connect to Microsoft SQL Server.


Solution:

Spotfire may display the following error message when running Information Links that are based out of MS SQL Server.

"The query processor could not obtain access to a required interface" 

  This error is specific to SQL Server data sources.

Check with your database administrator (DBA) to see if the database that is being used as the datasource has sufficient resources and is up & running.
