Problem:
Spotfire keeps only up to 48 hours of Action Log, by default: How to extend or disable the pruning.
Solution:
When enabling the action logging you have the option to set the "pruning period". By default, the "pruning period" is set to 48 hours. If you do not specify a different value when creating the action logging configuration, then all entries in the database that are older than 48 hours will be deleted. To avoid this, increase the value of the "pruning period".
You can set the value to 0 to disable pruning completely.
You can change the "pruning period" in two ways:
1). In the configuration tool UI, under the "User Action Log" settings.
2). You can set the "--pruning-period=value" when running the "config-action-log-database-logger" command via the command line.(See the description of the command "config-action-log-database-logger" in the Spotfire Server Manual).
