"Username" attribute is case sensitive when connecting to PostgreSQL data source using Data Connector or Information Services

Problem:

Solution:

Username is case sensitive when using a PostgreSQL data source in Spotfire. If the Username has been provided using a different case than what is set in the database (such as "ABCDE" where "abcde" is expected), Spotfire may throw errors like the following:

- Error message from Spotfire Information Designer:
Database reported: FATAL: password authentication failed for user "[USERNAME]"

- Error message from Spotfire Data Connector for PostgreSQL:
"The data source does not exist or it does not respond." Provide the Username using the correct case, in the same way as it was set in the database.
