Problem:
How to turn on logging in the Spotfire Analytics app for iOS
Solution:
When trying to troubleshoot an issue in the Spotfire Analytics iOS application, it is useful to be able to capture more information on what is happening inside the application.
Turning on DEBUG level logging in the Spotfire Analytics on iPad or iPhone:
1. Open the Spotfire Analytics app on your iPad or iPhone device.2. Click the Menu icon in the top left corner.
3. Select Settings.
4. Turn on the switch labelled "Log Application Activity".
5. Reproduce the issue in the application.
6. Return to the Settings menu.
7. Click "Email Support".
You are now able to email the log to any email address you enter. If in contact with TIBCO Support, we recommend e-mailing the log to yourself and then attaching it to a support case.
