Problem:

How to edit an existing Calculated Value Dynamic Item.


Solution:


If there is a Calculated Value in the Text Area that needs to be edited, the normal process of editing the Text Area and right-clicking on the item to get the 'Edit Control' option is grayed out.

Resolution

Dynamic items are now being handled with HTML code, so a user must select Edit HTML to be able to modify the calculated value.

After clicking on Edit HTML, all Dynamic Items will be listed in the pane on the right side of the dialog and the underlying HTML code on the left side of the screen. Click on the Dynamic Item to edit, then click on Edit or Format in the lower right hand corner. The Edit option allows you to change the Name, Data Table, Formatting (of numeric values), Value (expression used), Actions or Tooltip values. The Format option allows you to change the font size, type, add Bold or Italics, and change the size of the entire Control.
