Problem:

Versions: 7.0 and lower

Description:

You may come across the following error when browsing the Web Player:

HTTP Error 500.21 - Internal Server Error

Handler "PageHandlerFactory-Integrated" has a bad module "ManagedPipelineHandler" in its module list.

Symptoms:

HTTP Error 500.21 - Internal Server Error

Handler "PageHandlerFactory-Integrated" has a bad module "ManagedPipelineHandler" in its module list.

Cause:

ASP.NET applications are not registered with Internet Information Services (IIS).

Resolution

Open the Windows command prompt with Administrator privileges and run the following command:

%windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\aspnet_regiis..exe /i
