Error/Warning while library import " (") is missing" and " 'Column required by this query' is missing. Required by 1 item".

Description: When importing libraries from one Spotfire version/environment to other version/environment, you may get "(“) is missing" and " 'Column required by this query' is missing. Required by 1 items". Warning in front of many or all items. Screenshot attached (Filename: library_import_issues.png).

Symptoms: When importing libraries from one Spotfire version/environment to other version/environment you get (“) is missing, and “Column required by this query” is missing. Required by 1 items. Warning in front many or all items.

Cause: You may get this warning depending on the order in which you do import. See the attached image (Filename: library import issues.png).

Resolution: This is generally just a warning and is caused due to the order of import. The solution is to verify if the analysis can be opened successfully. Check if its possible to open the Data Source in Information Designer. Note that if you are importing from one environment to another, you will need to update the password for all data sources in Information Designer. Enter the password for data sources and resave. If you run into further issues opening the analysis, contact Technical Support for further investigation.
