Description of the different port numbers used in Composite Studio.

While launching the Composite Studio, the port number that is displayed on the screen is used to run the Composite Server service. When you connect Spotfire to Composite, port number 9401 is used as a default port to make a JDBC/ODBC connection.
This port number depends upon whether you are using a simple JDBC connection, HTTP, SSL, etc. To see the current base port setting in Composite Studio, Navigate to Administration > Configuration > Composite Server > Web Services Interface > Communications> HTTP > Port (Current). If you wish to change it, then log into Studio and navigate to Administration > Configuration > Composite Server > Web Services Interface > Communications > HTTP > Port (On Server Restart). Reference image - Change_Port_Number.PNG
