Chem3D: After installing GAMESS 2018 64-bit and MS-MPI Redistributable Package 64-bit, the GAMESS Interface functions within Chem3D Ultra 18.1 application are missing

After installing GAMESS 2018 64-bit and MS-MPI Redistributable Package 64-bit, the GAMESS Interface functions within Chem3D Ultra 18.1 application are missing (included with ChemOffice Professional 18.1 suite). What can I do to fix this problem?

The order in which you install the software is important. Following is the specific order in which the software needs to be installed:

1. Install ChemOffice Professional 18.1 (using cos18.1.exe)
2. Install MS-MPI Redistributable Package 64-bit (using MSMpiSetup.exe/msmpisdk.msi)

3. Install GAMESS 64 Client using gamess-64-2018-R1-pgi-mkl.msi

Note: If you see the Repair Option in step 2 when installing the Microsoft MPI SDK (7.0.12437.6), then skip the installation and reinstall/repair GAMESS 64 Client using gamess-64-2018-R1-pgi-mkl.msi
