Question:
Following dialog is displayed when saving an analysis file. What is the consequences of selecting either "Yes" or "No"?
This file has saved structure filters, do you want all WebPlayer users to see the same structure filter settings?
The Spotfire Document Property titled: "Remember personalized view for each web client users" interfers with all users seeing the same structure filters.
Clicking "Yes" will disable that property and is recommended.
The dialog is generated by Lead Discovery under following conditions:
- User has performed Structure Filter against and has not cleared the filter condition before saving the analysis file.
- User has selected to save the analysis file to Library.
If it is the case that the user does not want to share the structure condition in the Structure Filter to all Web Player users, then click "No" in the dialog, clear the filter condition, and resave the analysis file.
If the user does want to share the structure condition in the Structure Filter, then click "Yes" in the dialog.
Keep in mind that his action will result in disabling the option "Remember personalied view for each web client user" for this particular analysis file.
The option "Remember personalied view for each web client user" which is enabled by default will personalize the state of each Web Player users so that their actions (e.g., move pages, change filters) will be remembered until the next session.
If the option is disabled, the analysis file will revert back to its' initial state every time a Web Player user opens the analysis file.
