List of supported Coordinate Reference Systems (projections) in TIBCO Spotfire


Solution:

This article lists all Coordinate Reference Systems (CRS), also called projections, which are supported in TIBCO Spotfire (as of January 2020).

What are Coordinate Reference Systems? In a map the three-dimensional earth is represented two-dimensionally, and the needed transformation can be made using different models. Each model expresses locations on earth in coordinates in a coordinate reference system. Spotfire supports more than 3000 of these systems.

  See the attached files which contain the full list of supported Coordinate Reference Systems:

  • ProjectionList.zip - Contains an ProjectList.xml file which list with all details
  • Projections.xlsx - Trimmed version ProjectList.xml for Excel.
