Problem:

No longer able to open Library files and folders with single-click in TIBCO Spotfire Analyst


Solution:

When user attempts to open a file from the Library, they must double-click to open folders to browse to the file, and again to open desired file.  Previous versions allowed these actions with a single-click This was changed between 10.7 and 10.8 when the option to "View Library Item Details" was added to the Library browser.  There was a requirement to show details for all library items, including:

Specific requirements

  • The GUID of a library items shall be visible.
  • The modified by and created by properties for library items must be visible.
  • The path, the web client URL and the library URL shall be visible

All of this information is available with the single-click, which is why a double-click is required to open files and folders.
