Problem:
Meaning of warning like "Principal 'abc@SPOTFIRE' had explicit permissions on item 'test_analyses' (4ed4c54d-c4ea-44dd-92ch-8emos4c5d895) but this principal does not exist on this server." when importing library items from one environment to the other.
Solution:
While importing library items from one environment to the another, warning message like below can appear in Import dialog in Spotfire.
Principal 'abc@SPOTFIRE' had explicit permissions on item 'test_analyses' (4ed4c54d-c4ea-44dd-92ch-8emos4c5d895) but this principal does not exist on this server.
These are just warnings saying there was a user account/user group in the source environment, which had full access to a library items being imported but that user account is missing in the current environment. These messages are not errors and can safely be ignored. At the end in import dialog, message will appear saying "Import done" which means the import was successful and there is no issue with the imported files.
