How to search for the Data Connections and Connection Data Sources saved in the TIBCO Spotfire library based on server/hostname, database name or the selected views in the connections

This article describes how to search for the server/hostname, database name, or the selected views in the Data Connections or Connection Data sources which are saved in the TIBCO Spotfire library. When searching the TIBCO Spotfire library via the Library Administration or Information Designer tools, the following library properties can be used to search for the data connections or connection data sources that are using specific details:

Spotfire.ConnectionSourceServer:<servername>  

• This search string is used to search for all the Data Connections and Connection Data Sources connected to the specified servername 

Spotfire.ConnectionSourceDatabase:<databasename>

• This search string is used to search for all the Data Connections & Connection Data Sources where the specified databasename is selected

Spotfire.ConnectionViews:<viewnames>

• This search string is used to search for all the Data Connections in which the specified views are selected (does not apply for connection data sources)

Spotfire.Connector:<connectortypename>

• This is used to list all the Data Connections, Connection Data Sources, and reports with the specified connector type.
